I can't find a source but I heard a blurb on the news that Land Rover will end production of the Defender. This is due to it not meeting safety regulations.

Land Rover commented that the Defenders replacement will not be "soft".


I always wanted a Defender but the prices have always kept me from getting one. Maybe Land Rover will come out with a new baddass no frills diesel powered 4x4.
