I prefer to focus on the future and what will be, than live in or be governed by the past and what once was.” — Everyman
Welcome to Htuner.com. My name is Dustin Adler and I am the creator of this site. I have a long history with automotive forums on the web. I am the creator of various internet projects, and the sole author of a (once) popular message-forum software package. I've always had the drive to build places on the web where community can be fostered and true technical information can be shared.

The current state of tuning forums on the web is abysmal. I've been involved with forums that started out with good intentions, but eventually deteriorated into uselessness. Nowhere are users treated with respect and valued for their individual contributions. Neutral, unbiased discussion is unheard of, and conflict-of-interest is rampant. It's currently impossible to get quality advice, because so many people are in it for their own reasons. Web forums are filled with countless so-called "experts", while real experts know better to stay away.

I want to change all of this.

I have created this new site, Htuner.com, because I know that tuning enthusiasts deserve better. I intend for Htuner.com to be a home for professional Honda tuners. True professionals should feel free to share their thoughts, philosophies, experiences, and opinions — without worries of schoolyard-grade "flamewars". Honda professionals should be identified and recognized as a cut above regular enthusiasts, and should be respected for their accomplishments and experiences. How else can we expect professionals to share with the rest of us?

Countless enthusiasts have contacted me in recent months and asked that I create a new Honda community. After thinking it over and speaking with experts, I have learned that not even one internet forum exists where true professionals feel comfortable actively participating. They agree that there are hordes of "message board warriors" that completely lack respect for others — including experts who could contribute a great wealth of knowledge.

It's time for a paradigm shift, and Htuner.com is the catalyst. Many industry experts have agreed to actively participate on Htuner as a effort to give back to and support enthusiasts. Respect will be a given at all times. "Know-it-alls" and internet bullies are neither wanted nor welcome here. Together, we can create a learning atmosphere where all people (regardless of their tuning ability) can participate and are not at all intimidated to ask questions.

Regards,

Dustin Adler
